USDA said on Wednesday that private exporters had reported 115,000 tonnes of soybeans sold to China and a further 108,000 tonnes of soybeans sold to unknown destinations for the 2012/13 marketing year. The marketing year for soybeans began September 1.

Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tonnes or more of one commodity, made in one day, or quantities totalling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period, to one destination, on the next business day following the sale.
